1. Managing Products

Adding a New Product

Step 1: Go to the Products tab in the admin panel.
Step 2: Fill in the product details:
  • Product Name - Required field
  • Category - Select from dropdown
  • Description - Brief product description
  • Image - Upload or paste URL
  • Unit - e.g., case, pack, dozen
  • Featured - Check to show on homepage
Step 3: Click "Add Product"

Editing a Product

Find the product in the table and click the blue Edit button. Make your changes and click "Update Product".

Deleting a Product

Click the red Delete button next to the product. You will be asked to confirm.

Warning: Deleted products cannot be recovered. Make sure you want to delete before confirming.

2. Managing Categories

Adding a New Category

Step 1: Go to the Categories tab.
Step 2: Fill in:
  • Category Name - Display name (e.g., "Paper Bags")
  • Category ID - URL-friendly ID (e.g., "paper-bags")
  • Description - Brief description
  • Image - Upload or paste URL
Step 3: Click "Add Category"
Tip: Category IDs should be lowercase with hyphens instead of spaces. Example: "food-containers" not "Food Containers"

Editing a Category

Click Edit next to the category. Note: You cannot change the Category ID after creation.

Deleting a Category

Click Delete. If products are assigned to this category, they will become uncategorized.

3. Featured Products

Featured products appear on the homepage in the "Popular Products" section.

Making a Product Featured

Option 1: When adding/editing a product, check "Mark as Featured Product"

Option 2: Edit an existing product and check the featured box

Identifying Featured Products

  • Featured products have a yellow ★ Featured badge
  • Featured rows are highlighted in yellow
  • Use the "★ Featured Only" filter to see only featured products
Tip: We recommend having 4-8 featured products for the best homepage appearance.

4. Uploading Images

How to Upload

Step 1: Click the file upload button (Choose File)
Step 2: Select an image from your computer
Step 3: The image uploads automatically and URL is filled in

Image Requirements

  • Formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP
  • Max size: 5MB per image
  • Recommended size: 400x400 pixels for products, 800x400 for categories

Using External URLs

You can also paste an image URL directly instead of uploading. Make sure the URL starts with https://

5. Hero Banner Images

The hero section shows 3 images at the top of the homepage.

Changing Hero Images

Step 1: Go to Site Settings tab
Step 2: Scroll down to "Hero Banner Images"
Step 3: For each image, set:
  • Image URL - Upload or paste URL
  • Link - Where to go when clicked (e.g., category.html?id=drinkware)
  • Label - Text shown on the image
Step 4: Click "Save Settings"
Tip: Link to your most popular categories to drive traffic.

6. Site Settings

Control the text and contact info displayed across the website.

Available Settings

  • Site Name & Tagline - Shown in header
  • Phone Numbers - Main, alternate, and toll-free
  • Fax Number
  • Email Address
  • Business Hours - Weekday and weekend
  • Hero Title & Text - Main homepage message
Important: Always click "Save Settings" after making changes.

7. Tips & Best Practices

  • Save often - Click save/update after each change
  • Use good images - Clear, well-lit product photos
  • Write clear descriptions - Help customers understand products
  • Check the live site - Always preview changes on the main site
  • Keep categories organized - Don"t create too many categories
  • Update featured products - Rotate featured items periodically
